Having said this,  we suggest that you don’t make your bed as soon as you wake up in the morning. Firstly, flip the sheets back and air out your mattress as this allows trapped sweat and other particles to escape that would otherwise be trapped under your duvet and helps keep your bed fresh.

9. Ban Work And All Electronics

Keep the office out of your bedroom by removing anything that might remind you of it, including any documents, a work computer, even your desk – move it somewhere else if you can.

Banning all electronics not only forces you to stop checking those work emails when the day is done, but even fun electronics can have a harmful effect on your sleep. Blue light (emanated from screens) suppresses melatonin production, which can damage your ability to get a restful sleep.

10. Make Sure It’s Quiet

Try radio static or relaxing natural sounds like thunder or a coastal tide to disguise the more jarring sounds.
