Choosing a Rug by Colour

When you’re looking for a new rug, colour is one of the most important factors to keep in mind. Should you match your rug colour to your walls? Are you going for monochromatic interior design or a more eclectic, bohemian style? Is your rug an accessory in complementary colours or a standout piece to draw the eye? You have any number of options available, and it all comes down to your preferences!
Thankfully, there are no wrong answers when it comes to personal interior design – the only important thing is that you love the final product! However, if you’re unsure or looking for some guidance, check out our previous post on how to choose a rug by colour, taking into account factors like the size of the room, the existing colours and the atmosphere you’re hoping to create.

What Are My Colour Options?

If you’re looking to keep it neutral, we offer cream, beige, white, black, brown and grey rugs. However, if you’re looking to inject a little more colour into your space, we also offer rugs in blue, gold, green, orange, pink, purple, red and yellow. If you prefer a patterned rug over a plain one, you can also choose one of our multi-coloured rugs.
Our blog has plenty of advice on how to introduce bold colours into a room and which colour combinations to avoid for a stylish space.

For more information on finding perfect rugs by colour, please take a look at our Rug Colour Guide. For more options, please shop our collections of modern and traditional rugs, with sheepskin rugs and wool rugs on offer as well. You can also browse by room, by the type of rug or by rug size, so you’re guaranteed to find what you’re looking for.
